OUR CAPABILITIES

DESIGN:

Focused on bespoke engineered solutions, and self-sufficient in both mechanical and electrical design, we offer our clients innovative, yet practical solutions. Our Customers can also benefit from the provision of CAD visuals, 3D modeling, GA drawings, and wiring schematics.

FABRICATION:

We have a skilled team of experienced welding staff coded to BS EN 9606-1, working with both sectional pieces and flat sheet in MIG, TIG, brazing, and plasma cutting, including all types of fabrications in various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and brass/bronze. Fuel tanks are pressure tested in accordance with BS799 Pt5 2010 and all carbon steel is shot blasted to ISO8505-1 before fabrication.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY:

Quality results from attention to detail and never more so than with mechanical assembly. Close attention to dimensional tolerances ensures both reliability and durability in service. Using equipment calibrated in accordance with our ISO 9001 accreditation, our experienced team of mechanical fitters fully understands that their attention to detail is fundamental to the quality of the finished product.

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY:

Control panels are assembled in-house by our experienced and qualified panel builders using internally produced designs and wiring schematics. IP65 components are used as appropriate to ensure the suitability of purpose and reliability in service. Our d-SMART programME provides our Customers with precisely the control protocols and electrical interfaces required for each specific application.

SURFACE TREATMENT & FINISHING:

Quality of finish doesn’t end with shot blast metals, it requires to etch priming undercoated and a high-quality surface finish. We have complete capability covering the preparation, painting, and finishing of all components, including a variety of techniques and coatings. Surface preparations can be specified by our customers including paint types, close tolerance DFT and numerous other standards. Subject to compliance with maintenance instructions, surface finishing can be made available with up to 5 years warranty.

TEST FACILITIES

Tests can be carried out at unity or lagging power factors and can include complete transient load test analysis and results when necessary. We are fully registered as an approved supplier on the UK Utilities Vendor Database for a full range of product/service categories.

Resistive/reactive load banks to 3300kWe (4125kVA) 

380V to 690V capability

50Hz or 60Hz frequencies

Vibration/accelerometer/thermal imaging testing

Various engine cooling configurations are catered for including radiator cooled, keel or box cooled via custom made test rigs, and heat exchanger cooled via water tank and cooling towers

HV testing, EMC analysis and shock testing are also available for military, commercial and seismic considerations
