Emergency power, containerised, generator set built to HTM 06-01 compliance, with Perkins 4012-46TAG2A engine close coupled to a Mecc Alte ECO43 alternator, rated at 1250kVA 400V 50Hz 3 phase at 1500rpm. Radiator cooled, with special 75dBA @ 1m designed canopy with special attention to footprint size utilising a vertical “penthouse” style air intake to achieve the attenuation requirements.
Equipped with 2 stage oxidation catalyst, external cable link box, fire alarms, heating, lighting, motorised damper inlet, gravity fire damper outlet all weather louvred and with bird guards. The container contains a 10 hour 3000 litre day tank and a 24 hour 7224 litre bulk fuel tank within.
The set provides category B2 load acceptance of 80% and is designed as standby to mains failure with the facility to synchronise with the mains supply if required. G&M Eurotex also played the lead role in sourcing design, install and finishing of the piled concrete raft base, enabling the generator to be positioned within a tight space on an uneven ground level.
